Future nursing career fair: helping nurses prepare for the future

Nursing administrators today are faced with the problems of downsizing, loss of current nursing jobs, and discouraged nurses. A program to show growth areas in health care can help nurses look toward the future to expand and build expertise in the growing fields. This article describes steps in developing a medical-center based, career fair program for nurses.
