[Anti-idiotypic antibodies as vaccinal and diagnostic preparations in viral infections]

The data concerning characteristics of anti-idiotypic antibodies and their use as vaccine and diagnostic preparations at virus infections have been reviewed. Main principles of the anti-idiotypic antibodies formation and functioning have been described. Methodical aspects of their production and testing as well as their positive and negative properties when used as vaccine were also generalized.
