Abstract:
Psychogenic dysphonies are those vocal disorders with a psychologic background as paramount etiology. Among those disturbances the hysterical aphony/dysphony is the most representative entity. Although the diagnosis is not difficult doubts arises when treatment is contemplated. The AA. have realized a survey of the clinical pictures and characteristics of the problem in view of several therapeutical approaches.
