[Value of PMMA intracapsular rings during cataract surgery]

During cataract surgery, the stability of the capsular bag represents an important factor in the procedure and in the postoperative outcome. When this stability is poor in case of dialysis or phacodonesis, the use of an intracapsular PMMA ring may help in preventing possible complications.
