Abstract
Objective:
The purpose of this study was to obtain high-resolution MR images of the various components of the anal sphincter complex in children who have anorectal disorders. We therefore used dedicated endoanal receiver coils for MR imaging.
Conclusion:
Our pilot study suggested that MR imaging that uses a dedicated endoanal coil may have considerable diagnostic potential in children who have anorectal disorders.
