Implementing continuous quality improvement in home care: a success story

Continuous quality improvement (COI) is fast becoming the method of choice for home care organizations to assess and improve the quality of their services. This article illustrates care agency took the first step toward implementing COI. Interviews with the executive director, clinical director, continuous quality improvement coordinator, business office manager, and health information manager provide a glimpse into their initial concerns and their successes. Advice from each participant is offered to agencies attempting to implement COI for the first time.
