Abstract:
It is my understanding that there is still some confusion among our members and the public about: (1) the status of the National League for Nursing as an accrediting agency and (2) the relationship between the NLN and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), the new entity that now handles all accrediting activities. It is of crucial importance that these matters are well understood. Therefore, I am taking this means to provide information (some of which will be repeated from previous communications) that I hope will clear up the confusion.
