[The development of the material basis of an orthodontic clinic]

The paper is devoted to modern permanent orthodontic technology: bracket system, acknowledged as the most effective method of treatment. The know-how and products of different firms are described, including those manufactured by the Russian firm Kassis cooperating with the Central Research Institute of Dentistry. This firm manufactures more than 1500 articles. The designing and improvement of Russian orthodontic devices, indications to use of these devices, and introduction thereof in practical dentistry are discussed.
