Summary

This study tested how well four types of soft denture liners absorb impact forces. The researchers used a drop test with an accelerometer to measure cushioning effects. All materials reduced impact compared to regular acrylic resin. Molloplast-B and Molteno Soft showed the best performance. When the materials were aged in a special chamber for 900 hours, their cushioning improved. This suggests that aging can affect how well these liners work over time. The findings may help dentists choose better materials for long-term use.
