Summary
Oral administration of heparin combined with Sodium N-(8-[2-hydroxybenzoyl] amino) caprylate (SNAC) significantly reduced deep venous thrombosis in a rat model. This combination therapy also increased activated partial thromboplastin times (aPTT) compared to SNAC or heparin alone.
