Context:

Jugulotympanic paragangliomas (JTP) treatment remains controversial.
Selecting optimal treatment (surgery, radiation, observation) is challenging.

Purpose:

To evaluate surgical outcomes for JTP based on tumor extent.
To analyze the efficacy of different treatment modalities for JTP.

Summary:

Surgery achieved complete resection in 100% of early-stage (A/B) JTP.
Higher residual tumor rates were observed in advanced JTP (C/D).
Observation and radiation were used for residual tumors, with varying success.

Impact:

Complete resection is feasible for early-stage JTP with low cranial nerve injury risk.
