[The cutaneous neurosensory axis and the neuro-immuno-cutaneous system]

Since a few years the concept of a neuro-immuno-cutaneous system complementary to the neuro-sensorial cutaneous axis is emerging. It opens new ways to interpret the physiopathologic response of skin to a nociceptive stress, particularly the modulation of inflammation and immunity.
