Abstract:
The finding of metastatic melanoma simulating a parotid gland tumour and following the unknown excision of a primary tumour in 7 patients prompted assessment of lymph drainage to the parotid region. It is possible to define 4 areas of the scalp. The more posterior the primary, the lower the cervical node involvement.
