Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual male (the ten-spot ladybird; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Coccinellidae). The genome sequence is 489.4 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 12 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 19.68 kilobases in length.
