    Resumen

    Los eclipses entre Plutón y Caronte, detectados por primera vez en 1985, confirman la existencia de Caronte. La observación de estos raros eventos refinará la comprensión de los parámetros físicos y la composición del sistema Plutón-Carón.

    Sus antecedentes:

    • La existencia del satélite de Plutón, Caronte, fue confirmada por la detección de eclipses mutuos en 1985.
