Highly Reversible Sodium-ion Storage in A Bifunctional Nanoreactor Based on Single-atom Mn Supported on N-doped Carbon over MoS(2) Nanosheets
Conversion-type electrode materials have gained massive research attention in sodium-ion batteries (SIBs), but their limited reversibility hampers practical use. Herein, we report a bifunctional nanoreactor to boost highly reversible sodium-ion storage, wherein a record-high reversible degree of 85.65 % is achieved for MoS anodes. Composed of nitrogen-doped carbon-supported single atom Mn (NC-SAMn), this bifunctional nanoreactor concurrently…

Solvent-Controlled Enantiodivergent Construction of P(V)-Stereogenic Molecules via Palladium-Catalyzed Annulation of Prochiral N-Aryl Phosphonamides with Aromatic Iodides
In this work, we describe an efficient and modular method for enantiodivergent accessing P(V)-stereogenic molecules by utilizing the catalytic atroposelective Catellani-type C-H arylation/desymmetric intramolecular N-arylation cascade reaction. The enantioselectivity of this protocol was proved to be tuned by the polarity of the solvent, thus providing a wide range of both chiral P(V)-stereogenic enantiomers in moderate…

Catalytic Enantioselective Synthesis of Inherently Chiral Calix[4]arenes via Sequential Povarov Reaction and Aromatizations
Inherently chiral calix[4]arenes represent a unique type of chiral molecules with significant applications, yet their catalytic enantioselective synthesis remains largely underexplored. We report herein the catalytic enantioselective synthesis of inherently chiral calix[4]arenes through the sequential organocatalyzed enantioselective Povarov reaction and aromatizations. The chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed three-component Povarov reaction involving amino group-substituted calix[4]arenes, aldehydes and…

Halogen Tailoring of Platinum Electrocatalyst with High CO Tolerance for Methanol Oxidation Reaction
The catalytic activity of platinum for CO oxidation depends on the interaction of electron donation and back-donation at the platinum center. Here we demonstrate that the platinum bromine nanoparticles with electron-rich properties on bromine bonded with sp-C in graphdiyne (PtBr NPs/Br-GDY), which is formed by bromine ligand and constitutes an electrocatalyst with a high CO-resistant…

Regional Functionalization Molecular Design Strategy: A Key to Enhancing the Efficiency of Multi-Resonance OLEDs
Herein, we propose a regional functionalization molecular design strategy that enables independent control of distinct pivotal parameters through different molecule segments. Three novel multiple resonances thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) emitters A-BN, DA-BN, and A-DBN, have been successfully synthesized by integrating highly rigid and three-dimensional adamantane-containing spirofluorene units into the MR framework. These molecules form…
