[Report of four cases of 22 channel cochlear implantations]

22 channel cochlear implants were implanted in 3 postlinguistical deafened adults and a prelinguistical deafened adolescent. All 4 patients including one with total cochlear ossification and another with congenital cochlear malformation showed significant auditory performance and demonstrated satisfactorily improved speech perception test scores postoperatively.
