Summary

Digital rectal exam and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) density improve prostate cancer detection in the PSA gray zone. A PSA density cutoff of 0.22 offers 90% sensitivity for identifying cancer in men with PSA levels between 4-10 ng/ml.
