Abstract
Objective:
To investigate the clinical course, pathologic characteristic, diagnosis and surgical treatment of dermoid cyst of maxillofacial suture.
Method:
Eight cases of dermoid cyst of maxillofacial suture were reported.
Result:
All patients were treated by surgery. The cure rate was 100%. No recurrence was found as follow-up from 1 to 4 years.
Conclusion:
There are some features in the clinical course of the dermoid cyst of maxillofacial suture. It is necessary to do CT examination. Surgery operation is the only treatment by now.
