Abstract:
Aggression management is a challenge most clinicians have to face, specially in an emergency service. Managing behavioral emergencies is a usual problem for mental health staff that requires taking quick decisions in situations in which the patient and the staff security is priority. In addition there is growing development and complexity in pharmacological treatments. That is why there is an increasing interest to provide guidelines and structured policies based on clinical trial data.
