Summary

Helicobacter hepaticus infection is prevalent in 82% of gallbladders, with a high association in gallbladder cancer cases. This suggests H. hepaticus may be a significant risk factor for gallbladder disease and malignancy.

  • To investigate histopathological changes in gallbladders with cholelithiasis.
  • To determine the correlation between these changes and Helicobacter hepaticus infection.

  • Histopathological examination using Hematoxylin & Eosin staining.
  • Detection of Helicobacter hepaticus using Warthin Starry Silver stain.
