[Treatment and prophylaxis of early intestinal adhesion and ileus disease]
Abstract:
Results of treatment of early adhesion ileus in 87 patients were analyzed, as well as efficacy of prophylactic measures concerning adhesions formation using original methods in 69 patients in 2-5 years after the operation. In addition to conventional methods of surgical treatment existed there was elaborated the method of formation of two-barrel enterostomy. In 11 (12.8%) patients the complications have occurred, postoperative mortality was 3.4%. After performance of prophylactic measures for adhesions formations good results were achieved in 81.1% of examined persons and the fair--in 13.8%.
