[Formation of intraabdominal abscess after performance of intestinal surgery]
Abstract:
Experience of surgical treatment of 69 patients with intraabdominal abscess, formed after various intestinal operations performation, was summarized. In 28 patients the abscesses puncture was applied as well as their opening using traditional method. Complications had occurred in 15.9% of patients, postoperative mortality was 5.8%. Application of modern technologies of diagnosis and treatment constitutes perspective trend of the treatment results improvement in such patients.
