Abstract:
Renal involvement is uncommon in the rare condition of Type I cryoglobulinaemia. On review of the literature most cases featured membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis on renal biopsy. In this case report, we describe a presentation of rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis that histologically demonstrated necrotising, proliferative glomerulonephritis. Treatment with a cytotoxic agent and corticosteroids has resulted in clinical stability.
