[The angioleiomyoma of the skin]

Twelve cases of angioleiomyoma are reported. These are benign, often painful tumors occurring chiefly on the lower extremities of middle-aged women. Clinical diagnosis is usually possible, and any remaining doubt can easily be resolved by histological examinations.
