Does hyperbaric oxygen exposure affect high-intensity, short-duration exercise performance?

Acute hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) exposure, breathing 100% oxygen at increased pressure, did not significantly impact high-intensity exercise performance. Studies on treadmill running and bench pressing showed no improvements in physiological responses or endurance.
