Abstract:
Osmium oxidation has been frequently utilized for thymine-targeting DNA sequencing because of its high selectivity. In this study, we investigated the reactivity of various DNAs containing multiple thymine bases. A thymine doublet was more easily oxidized than a single thymine in single strand DNA.
