[The problem of the lack of physicians]

It is not easy to know the real need of physicians of a country and it is even more difficult to know those of the future (next 15-20 years) because of the multiple factors that should be considered (sanitary, social, economic, etc...). We have not completely reliable statistics in Spain, but the most confirm that there is not a global deficit of physicians nowadays (in relation to the other countries of EU), but deficit exists in some specialities: General medicine, Pediatrics, General surgery, Anesthesia and Radiology.
