Abstract:
Staff development educators assist professional nursing staff in providing personalized, quality patient care that is documented in an accurate, time-saving manner with periodic evaluation of outcomes. They also seek ways to assist administrators in improving quality assurance in health care facilities. This article describes nursing care plans based on North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) taxonomy that can meet recognized standards of patient care and be adapted for acute or long-term care facilities.
