Metastatic tumor antigen 1 (MTA1) plays a crucial role in regulating transglutaminase 2 (TG2) expression during inflammation. MTA1 and NF-κB signaling are essential for bacterial lipopolysaccharide-induced TG2 expression in macrophages.
