How should the articular disk position be analyzed?

Comparing two methods for diagnosing temporomandibular joint disk position using MRI, this study found the intermediate zone criterion more reliable than the 12-o'clock position. The intermediate zone method showed higher agreement with clinical diagnosis for disk displacement.
