Summary

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPX) offers more accurate cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) assessments than standard exercise testing (ET). While both methods yield similar maximal results, CPX demonstrates higher physical work capacity, making it the recommended approach for performance evaluation.
