Summary

Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection in rabbits stimulates polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PNL) function, indicated by increased myeloperoxidase activity and cationic proteins. This immune response may contribute to impaired bacterial digestion by leukocytes.
