Pediatric-Onset Multiple Sclerosis Disease Progression in Kuwait: A Retrospective Analysis

Pediatric multiple sclerosis (MS) patients present with more brainstem/cerebellar and multifocal symptoms. Despite similar relapse rates, pediatric MS shows slower disability progression and a delayed onset of secondary progressive MS compared to adult-onset MS.

- Despite comparable relapse rates, pediatric MS demonstrates a more favorable long-term prognosis with reduced disability accumulation and delayed progression to secondary progressive MS.
