Lipin-1 expression is critical for keratinocyte differentiation

Lipin-1 downregulation inhibits human epidermal keratinocyte differentiation by sustaining p21 expression, impacting cell cycle progression. Protein kinase C alpha (PKCα) is involved in this lipin-1-mediated regulation.
