Modified Broström Procedure for Chronic Ankle Instability With Generalized Joint Hypermobility

Generalized joint hypermobility (GJH) is not a contraindication for the modified Broström procedure in chronic ankle instability cases. Satisfactory outcomes are achieved when the uninjured ankle shows normal stability on stress tests.
