Polymorphisms in the type I deiodinase gene and frontal function in recurrent depressive disorder

Investigating genetic variations in the DIO1 gene and their link to cognitive function in recurrent depressive disorder patients revealed no significant associations. However, one DIO1 variant showed a link to verbal fluency, suggesting further research is needed.
