    Background:

    • Nonparasitic hepatic cysts are a common clinical finding.
    • Traditional surgical interventions can be invasive and associated with significant morbidity.
    • Effective and less invasive treatment options are needed.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To analyze the outcomes of treating nonparasitic hepatic cysts using laparoscopic techniques.
    • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ultrasonographically guided percutaneous drainage.

    Main Methods:

    • A cohort of 21 patients with nonparasitic hepatic cysts underwent treatment.
    • Procedures included laparoscopic drainage and percutaneous puncture.
    • Ultrasonographic (US) guidance was utilized for all interventions.

    Main Results:

    • The minimally invasive approach demonstrated low postoperative morbidity (7.1%).
    • Patients experienced a reduced duration of hospital stay, averaging 3.3 ± 0.61 days.
