Helicobacter pylori infection does not show a significant link to the severity of esophagitis in patients undergoing endoscopy. This study found no correlation between HP infection and different grades of reflux esophagitis.

- A significant difference in HP+ status was observed in age groups 40-50 and over 60.
Conclusions:
- No statistically significant association was found between Helicobacter pylori infection and the different grades of esophagitis.
