Summary

Post-hypnotic suggestions effectively reduce the Stroop effect by inhibiting word meaning access. Hypnosis alone did not impact this cognitive task, but EEG data revealed increased frontal theta and beta power under suggestion, suggesting enhanced cognitive control.
