Relationship between HLA-DQ Gene Polymorphism and Hepatitis B Virus Infection

Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) DQ gene variations influence Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection risk. Specific polymorphisms, rs2856718-G and rs7453920-A, appear protective, while rs2856718-A and rs7453920-G increase susceptibility.
