This report details a 54-year-old woman with a presternal goiter and a history of partial thyroidectomy for colloid goiter.
Her thyroid function tests indicated subclinical hypothyroidism; physical and laboratory exams revealed no other abnormalities.

Surgical resection of the remaining thyroid tissue was performed with successful recovery.
Anatomopathological examination confirmed the goiter as colloid goiter.
