The synthetic localizer radiograph - A new CT scan planning method

Synthetic localizer radiographs (SLRs) from low-dose CT scans can replace conventional localizer radiographs (LRs) for CT planning. SLRs offer comparable effective dose and improved accuracy in body size estimation, enhancing CT scan planning.
