A rare case of localized cutaneous diphtheria was diagnosed in a 91-year-old woman presenting with a chronic forehead ulcer. Prompt diagnosis and penicillin treatment led to complete healing, highlighting the importance of identifying diphtheroid corynebacteria in non-healing wounds.
