Baseline Central Visual Field Defect as a Risk Factor For NTG Progression: A 5-Year Prospective Study

Normal-tension glaucoma patients with central visual field defects progress faster than those with peripheral defects. This finding highlights the importance of early detection and management of central visual field loss in normal-tension glaucoma.
