To decrease student workload and stress in prelicensure nursing programs.
To evaluate an innovative change to clinical written assignments.
To provide a template for implementing changes in nursing education.

Main Methods:

Utilized change theories and a modified SWOT analysis.
A BSN subcommittee evaluated assignment methods and publisher products.
An electronic platform will be trialed in one nursing course.

Main Results:

The implementation of an electronic platform is planned for a pilot course.
The study aims to establish a template for change implementation.
Focus on reducing student workload and stress through assignment modification.
