New oscillating gradient spin-echo (OGSE) waveforms improve MRI measurements of tissue microstructure by narrowing the frequency bandwidth and increasing measurement specificity. These advancements enhance the precision of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) for studying water molecule motion.
