A new vacuum ionization source enables rapid, sensitive molecular analysis using vacuum matrix-assisted ionization (vMAI) or vacuum matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (vMALDI). This technology offers high throughput and low attomole detection limits for mass spectrometry applications.
