Rubidium Uptake in Chest Tumors on PET/CT

Rubidium (Rb) scans show low uptake in incidental extracardiac tumors, stable between rest and stress. While lower than FDG PET/CT, Rb uptake may aid molecular imaging, especially with correlations to estrogen receptor positivity in breast tumors.
