Background:

Nurses' entrepreneurial intentions (NEI) require predictive models to identify promoting variables.
Understanding factors influencing NEI is crucial for fostering nurse entrepreneurship.

Purpose of the Study:

To explore factors influencing nurses' entrepreneurial intentions.
To develop and compare predictive models for nurses' entrepreneurial intentions.

Main Methods:

Systematic review and meta-analysis to identify and validate factors influencing NEI.
Development and comparison of three prediction models: Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), meta-analysis, and a combined model.
Data analysis of 386 nurses using SPSS and AMOS.

Main Results:

The combined model (Model 3) demonstrated the highest explanatory power (60.0%) for nurses' entrepreneurial intentions, surpassing the TPB model (54.3%) and the meta-analysis model (35.8%).
Key variables strengthening nurses' entrepreneurial intention include attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, entrepreneurial orientation, and the need for entrepreneurship education.

Conclusions:

The study provides a theoretical model for explaining nurse entrepreneurship intentions.
Findings support the development of start-up curricula in nursing colleges to cultivate prospective nurse entrepreneurs.
